Playing The Game

An explanation of how the Nerd Boy, Inc Internet Lottery game works:

People love to win something. As they surf the Internet, they may see a banner, read a classified ad, or respond to a promotion advertising FREE Lotto tickets.

When they get to your lotto site, they must enter their email address in order to play. After all, our winner notifications go out by email so without providing their email address they cannot win any prizes. When they enter their email address they agree to be subscribed to your list of players.

After entering their email address they are taken to a sponsor matrix page where there is a table of sponsor links which allow the player to visit any number of sponsor sites that they choose. There will be two types of sponsors. Sponsors who own their own website and have placed a special banner on a specific page where they want the visitors to go to. That special banner link, once clicked, will take the player to a unique ticket page. A percentage of the players will see something that catches their interest as they look for the banner and they may ask for info.

Sponsors who do NOT own their own web site and so cannot place a banner on their page will rely on the Lotto software to place their web site in a frames arrangement where the non-editable page is on the upper frame and the ticket link will appear on the lower narrow frame after a delay. There is a delay so that the player will have a full opportunity to view the sponsor page. This is what they are paying for.

By playing a ticket on your lotto site, the player agrees to be subscribed to your list of players. The accumulation of email addresses that have played a ticket on your lotto site is called your list of players. Each week your player database is sent an Invitation to come out and play their share of Free Lotto Tickets and try to win your prizes.

At a day and time of your choosing, your game will close and no one will be allowed to enter tickets for that game week at that point. Your lotto software will immediately be available for the next weeks game. You will enter in the winning tickets and winner/loser notifications will go out reporting that the game has closed and that the winners have been notified along with an invitation to play again. Thus the cycle starts again. Meanwhile, winners will be coming back to play their free tickets (if that was listed as a prize) and losers will come back to play again, so you will get repeat play.
