Classified Ads

When a player plays a ticket, he will automatically be added to your list of players. Your list of players will grow quite rapidly each week (often by the hundreds) if you advertise in the right place or join a Free Lotto Co-op, etc.

Once they are on your list of players, you'll be able to email them weekly reminders and other lotto related material. Included on each email should be a few classified ads. You can charge customers a fee to add their classified ad to your Ezine or list of players.

How much can you expect to make? I typically earn $10 for each ad going to about 8,000 players. You should not have more than 10 ads per issue, but that is potentially $80 per week in simple classified ad income. Will you automatically get that? Probably not. It is up to you to market your Ezine ads just as you market sponsor positions.

Actually giving FREE classified ads to your player list is a good incentive to get sponsor orders. "If you order THIS WEEKEND, I'll give you TWO free 25 word ads to my list of players! If you get your sponsor order in TODAY, I'll make it 5 FREE INSERTIONS!"

Stuff like that works. Classified ads in your list of player Ezine are a perfectly good source of revenue. Don't forget to swap with other publishers too! That gets you free exposure.
